You don't need to be beautiful, rich, intelligent and famous to please God. Bernadette was poor and did badly at school, lots of people thought they were above her and her family. But it was Bernadette that Mary  chose to speak in Lourdes, because she had a really simple heart and she loved the Lord.

Whoever you are, you too matter a lot to God.
