The information that we have on the "Bureau de Vérification" (First mention in 1886 in the Annals of Lourdes), the methods of working on the dossier of alleged cures from August 1883 (St Maclou) come from close or distant witnesses, doctors or not, who attended the working sessions. 

"A very special pilgrim's Father Richard Clarkes s, j published in the journal "The Mouth", a series of articles following his stay in September 1887 (...). 

This is the testimony of a contemporary, to describe the meeting between the alleged cured and the doctor of the Medical Bureau at that time."
