Doctor Boissarie was in charge of the "Medical Bureau" in the Sanctuary of Lourdes from 1892 to 1914. 

   "The first mention of a Medical bureau dates back to October 1866. The first pages reserved to the Medical Bureau appear in the Annals (Annales de la Grotte) in August 1887(...) The first permanent doctor did not think of conveying the conditions under which the "Medical bureau" little by little, put together its method of assessing cases. The only information we have come from close or distant witnesses, doctors or not, who have been associated with these sessions.

From his discovery of Lourdes in 1886 until the death of Dr Saint Maclou in September 1891, Doctor Boissarie worked in the Medical bureau before becoming in charge in 1892."
